Inside a Washing Machine

Inside the belly of the beast. This series takes place inside an urban car wash. Reflections reveal unexpected details, while soap, brushes, and water create constantly changing patterns. In essence, the windshield becomes the canvas.

The contrasts and distortions create scenes that feel almost abstract—intimate, cinematic, and fleeting. Maybe even something psychedelic.

And then there’s the little adventure of it all: foot off the gas, hands off the wheel, and complete trust in the machine as it guides me into the whale’s belly and, a few minutes later, safely back out again.
